At Guédelon Castle in Burgundy, France, every craft is done the medieval way — even rope making! Using simple wooden tools, hemp, and muscle power, artisans twist and spin strong cords just like builders did 800 years ago. These ropes are then used all over the site — to lift stones, build scaffolding, and tie wooden beams — proving that medieval tech still works beautifully today. 🏰✨
