Since 1997, Guédelon Castle has been rising from an old sandstone quarry near Treigny, built entirely by hand using medieval tools, local materials, and 13th-century techniques. It’s not a restoration, but a living experiment — an archaeological project where stonemasons, carpenters, and historians work together to rediscover how castles were truly built. A masterpiece of craftsmanship, Guédelon continues to grow — proving that history is still under construction. 🇫🇷✨
