Magpie's Easter Feast

Magpie's Easter Feast.

Black and white in morning's gleam, She dances through a silver dream. With shiny things and clever eyes, She paints her joy across the skies. A magpie lands with silent grace, Atop the cloth, her banquet place. With blooms and eggs and springtime air, A bowl of treats awaits her there. She pecks a bite, then glides with pride, No need to sneak, no need to hide. A feast for one beneath the sky, A stolen joy—sweet magpie fly. ~Jessic A. Delory
